Facilities & Learning Environment

The Department is located on the 4th to 6th floors of Hsiu-Chi Building at the Kuang-Fu Campus, offering an excellent academic and learning atmosphere.

Facilities include a reading room, computer labs, graduate student research rooms, multipurpose classrooms, and meeting rooms.

Each classroom is equipped with air conditioning, projectors, screens, high-speed internet, computers, and audio systems. A wooden stage in the 4th-floor atrium, balconies, and lounge areas with seating provide spaces for rest and discussion.

Additionally, there will be offices for the student association, as well as shared spaces for the second foreign languages: Japanese, French, German, and Spanish, along with server space, etc.

To enhance e-Learning, our department has introduced advanced digital information technologies, including a teaching broadcast system, digital cameras, digital still cameras, digital podiums, DVD players, CD recorders, projectors, interactive single-gun projectors, IRS (Instant Response System), laptops, video teaching systems, and an unmanned management system for computer classrooms. These teaching aids provide a competitive and research-friendly environment for both teachers and students.
