Undergraduate Program

For local students:

1.      Entry by Screening Test (Usually in April)

2.      Entry by Examination (Usually in July)

3.      Transfer exam

(1 ) University transfer (Usually in July)

(2) Department transfer (Usually in May)*

Condition and Requirement
Class ranking: top 50%
NCKU English class with a grade above 85, or Certificate of higher-intermediate level English Proficiency Test

Applicants should take and pass at least one of the following B2 courses before application:

  • Introduction to Linguistics
  • Introduction to Western Literature
  • Guided Reading of Literary Works

Participate in and pass the FLLD transfer exam scheduled at the end of May.

  • Written Test: Reading and Composition (50%)
  • English Conversation and Interview (50%)

 

4.      Double major and minor program*

Condition and Requirement

Class ranking: top 25%
NCKU English class with a grade above 80, or Certificate of higher-intermediate level English Proficiency Test

Applicants should take and pass at least one of the following B2 courses before application:

  • Introduction to Linguistics
  • Introduction to Linguistics
  • Introduction to Linguistics
【FLLD as your double major program】
Class ranking: top 15%
NCKU English class with a grade above 80, or Certificate of higher-intermediate level English Proficiency Test

Applicants should take and pass at least one of the following B2 courses before application:

  • Introduction to Linguistics
  • Introduction to Western Literature
  • Guided Reading of Literary Works

* NCKU international degree students may apply for the FLLD undergraduate department transfer exam and the double major and minor program.
